Newly Elected MPs, Including BNP Members, Take Oath in the 13th National Parliament

The newly elected Members of Parliament (MPs) of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) have taken oath in the 13th National Parliament election.

Today (Tuesday) at around 10:45 am, the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) A M M Nasir Uddin administered the oath to the newly elected MPs at the oath-taking room of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban.

The ceremony was conducted by the Secretary of the Parliament Secretariat, Kaniz Mowla.

First, the CEC administered the oath to BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman and the MPs elected from BNP. They subsequently signed the oath register.
