Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairman Mr. Tarique Rahman has been elected as the leader of the BNP Parliamentary Party.
The meeting of the BNP Parliamentary Party was held today, Tuesday, at around 11:15 AM in the Parliamentary Party meeting room. During the meeting, Tarique Rahman was elected as the Parliamentary Party Leader.
The matter was confirmed by BNP Media Cell member Shayrul Kabir Khan.
Earlier, at around 10:45 AM, Tarique Rahman, along with the BNP Members of Parliament (MPs) elected in the 13th National Parliament Election, took the oath. After taking the oath, the MPs signed the oath register and then attended the meeting.
Local and foreign guests were present at the oath-taking ceremony.
Meanwhile, at 4:00 PM today, Tarique Rahman and the members of the new cabinet will take oath as Prime Minister and cabinet members before President Md. Shahabuddin at a special অনুষ্ঠানে held at the South Plaza of the Parliament building
