Tarique Rahman, the eldest son of the Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia, and Chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), has been sworn in as the Prime Minister of Bangladesh.
This afternoon, at a ceremony held at the South Plaza of the National Parliament, President Md. Shahabuddin administered the oath of office and the oath of secrecy to Prime Minister Tarique Rahman.
